Vivo Launches Its First Foldable Phone X Fold3 Pro in India
Vivo on Thursday unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold3 Pro, in India. This luxury device is set to rival the likes of Samsung’s Fold and OnePlus Open, marking Vivo’s entry into the foldable phone market. The X Fold3 Pro boasts a 6.53-inch cover display and an 8.03-inch main display, both featuring AMOLED technology with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. Weighing 236 grams and measuring 11.2mm thick when folded, the phone is both sleek and powerful.
One of the standout features of the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is its IPX8 water resistance rating, making it a durable option for everyday use. The device is powered by a 5,700mAh battery supported by a 100W fast charger, ensuring long-lasting performance. Under the hood, the X Fold3 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of internal storage, running on Funtouch 14 based on Android 14.
In terms of photography, Vivo has partnered with ZEISS to deliver exceptional camera capabilities on the X Fold3 Pro. The device features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x zoom. Additionally, both the front camera on the cover display and the main screen boast a resolution of 32MP, ensuring stunning selfies and video calls.
Priced at ₹1,59,999 in Celestial Black color, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro will be available for purchase starting June 13 through Flipkart, Vivo e-stores, and offline retail partners.
