The Coast Guard has diverted several crews from Miami to assist the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) in the search efforts.
A spokesperson from Royal Caribbean has stated that their crew immediately launched a search and rescue operation and is collaborating with local authorities in the search. The cruise line is also providing support and assistance to the family of the missing passenger during this challenging time. Currently, both RBDF and U.S. Coast Guard rescue crews are still actively searching for the missing woman, with the “Utopia” also joining in the search efforts by scanning the waters with search lights.
