It wasn’t all action and shooter games at the PlayStation Showcase held last night. Neva, the new project by the Barcelona team Nomada Studio and the artist Conrad Roset, was presented on the occasion of the Sony event to leave everyone speechless with a trailer full of sensitivity.
The creators of Gris, one of the greatest successes of the Spanish video game in recent years, showed their new project for the first time, “a game about love, identity, truth and courageâ€.
Neva will go on sale throughout 2024 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in 2024. Again, the prestigious American publisher Devolver Digital will be in charge of its distribution.
“This is the story of Alba and her wolf companion, who embark on an adventure through a world that is rapidly dying,” says its official website.
Regarding its mechanics, it is stated that it will include “platforms, puzzles, and combat against monstrous enemies, with a minimal user interface, delicate art, high-quality traditional animation, and haunting music.”
Gris went on sale at the end of 2018 and since then it has managed to sell more than 1 million units on the different platforms for which it has been released. The game stood out for its evocative art design, by Conrad Roset, and also for its theme around emotions.
