The weather this weekend in St. Louis is going to be a mix of warm and chilly conditions. Thursday will start off chilly but warm up quickly with highs reaching the low 80s. Overnight temperatures won’t be as cool, with wake-up temps in the mid-50s.

As we head into Friday and Saturday, temperatures will continue to rise. Saturday’s highs are expected to be nearly 15 degrees above average. However, a cold front is set to move in over the weekend, arriving early Sunday. This front will bring breezy conditions but no rain, just the chilliest air we’ve experienced so far this fall.

Sunday’s highs will drop back down to the 70s, and by Monday, temperatures will only reach the 60s. Early Tuesday morning, there is a high likelihood of widespread frost as temperatures outside of metro St. Louis dip into the 30s.

In addition to the local weather, Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key as a Category 3 storm on Wednesday evening. While it has now weakened to a Category 1 storm, it is still expected to bring high winds and rain as it moves off the east coast of the Florida Peninsula and into the Atlantic Ocean. Over 120 tornado warnings were issued across south Florida ahead of the storm’s landfall.

It’s important to stay informed about the changing weather conditions and to be prepared for any potential impacts from Hurricane Milton. Make sure to dress warmly as temperatures drop over the weekend and stay safe during any inclement weather.
