Fans were thrilled to see Heat legend Udonis Haslem and All-Star Bam Adebayo signing autographs for kids and distributing food to those in need. WNBA’s A’ja Wilson, the 2024 Most Valuable Player from the Las Vegas Aces, was also present, showing her support for the South Florida community.
Approximately 500 people lined up to receive a generous package that included a free turkey, side dishes, and an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables for their Thanksgiving dinner. The generosity and kindness of the basketball stars and the local community were truly heartwarming.
In addition to food assistance, free medical services such as health screenings, dental care, and vaccinations were offered to those in attendance. To encourage blood donations, individuals were given a $30 gift card as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the community.
