The Hard Rock Stadium has released important details about the upcoming Taylor Swift concert, known as “The Eras Tour,” to ensure that fans have a smooth and enjoyable experience. The concert will take place from Oct. 18-20, and attendees and Miami Gardens residents should take note of the following information regarding parking, road closures, stadium security, and entry protocols.
– General Information:
To park at the Hard Rock Stadium, attendees must have both a prepaid parking pass and a show ticket for that night’s concert. No parking will be available for purchase on the day of the show. Only fans with a parking pass and a valid concert ticket will be allowed to tailgate in stadium parking lots on the date of their concert ticket. People without concert tickets will not have access to listening areas outside the stadium and will be asked to leave the property. Police and stadium security will be monitoring the parking lots to ensure a safe environment for ticket holders. Ticket checks will be conducted multiple times during stadium entry, and fans must scan their concert ticket before boarding Park & Ride buses, which are exclusively for concert ticket holders.
– Gate Times:
The parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m., and stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Guests will not be permitted to line up or park before the parking gates open at 3:30 p.m.
– Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
Parent drop-off and pick-up locations have been designated at Lot 14, Lot 15, and Lot 31. Parent drop-off lots will open at 3:30 p.m. on each show date. Parents picking up from Lots 14 or 15 must enter the lot between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Road closures will be in effect from 10:30 p.m. to facilitate stadium egress. After 10:30 p.m., Lot 31 will be the only accessible lot for parents. Hard Rock Stadium recommends using the Waze app for the quickest routes around road closures.
– Road Closures:
Certain roads will be closed on various dates and times to accommodate the concert. Miami Gardens residents with resident passes issued by the city or a driver’s license with a local address will be allowed through certain road closures. Residents can also use on-ramps to access the Turnpike.
– Security and Stadium Access:
To maintain safety and security, fans will undergo multiple security and ticket checks before entering parking lots and the stadium. Ticket holders should be prepared to have their tickets scanned multiple times. The stadium has a clear bag policy in place, allowing clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and small bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. All other purses or bags exceeding these dimensions are prohibited.
