Nintendo has announced the issuance of a new edition of its Nintendo Direct news program. This presentation can be seen this Wednesday, June 21, at 4:00 p.m. (peninsular time). As the Japanese company has announced, the digital event “will have about 40 minutes of information focused mainly on games that will arrive this year on Nintendo Switch, and will also include new details about Pikmin 4.”
The presentation can be followed through the video that heads this news. Also on the official Nintendo Direct website and on the official Nintendo YouTube channels.
During the last few days there had been speculation about the possibility that Nintendo would present a new edition of its news program. Precisely, this month of June has had several digital events from some of the leading brands in the sector, such as Sony (PlayStation Showcase), Microsoft (Xbox Games Showcase), Ubisoft (Ubisoft Forward) or the Summer Game Fest, among others.
These types of online presentations have been held for years on the occasion of E3, the most important fair in this industry, which was canceled again this year and has not raised its head since the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be interesting what Nintendo has prepared for the second half of the year. In addition to Pikmin 4, which will go on sale on July 21 and is its next big release, it remains to be seen how the Japanese factory will fill the remainder of 2023 after the great success of the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Other games likely to also be seen at the sale are Everybody 1-2-Switch!, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, Baten Kaitos I
