Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will go on sale in early 2024 for PlayStation 5. The announcement of the release date of this long-awaited title developed by the Japanese Square Enix has been the final surprise of the Summer Game Fest event.
The sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake has been shown with a new and spectacular trailer that has closed the presentation held tonight at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
Beyond the date and the new images, the new video has also served to know that the game will occupy two discs.
Other new details that can be seen in the video is that players will be able to explore the fictional world of Midgar and control characters that were not playable in the previous installment, such as the feline Red XIII.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be the second part of a trilogy that aims to update the classic Final Fantasy VII, the influential role-playing and adventure game published in 1997 for the first PlayStation.
The Summer Game Fest event is taking place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. The presentation organized by Canadian journalist and producer Geoff Keighley features news from more than 40 companies in the sector.
