The holiday season has officially begun in Miami-Dade with the grand opening of the annual Thoma Bravo Christmas Tree Lot. This tradition, which has been going on for over 50 years, is a special event that brings joy to the community.

Old Saint Nick himself joined the Boys and Girls Club of Miami-Dade in cutting the ribbon to kick off this festive occasion. The Christmas trees come all the way from North Carolina, where they were freshly cut just a few days ago. This year, the trees even had a dusting of snow on them, making them extra special.

Mercy Ramirez, a local resident, shared her excitement about participating in this tradition by purchasing a Christmas tree for her family. She mentioned that it has become an annual tradition for her family, and they always look forward to picking out the perfect tree.

If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit and support a good cause, make sure to stop by the Hank Kline Club on Southwest 32nd Avenue in Miami. The tree lot will be open every day until all the trees are sold. And the best part? All proceeds from the sales of the Fraser firs will go towards supporting the programs at the Boys and Girls Club’s six sites across Miami-Dade.

This event is not only a great way to get a beautiful Christmas tree for your home but also a way to give back to the community. So, come on down, pick out a tree, and spread some holiday cheer while supporting a worthy cause.
