A 36-year-old man from West Palm Beach, Junior Boucher, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a violent attack at a Palm Beach Gardens golf course. The incident took place on hole one of Sandhill Crane Golf Club, near a body of water, around 1:22 p.m. on Monday. Multiple witnesses saw Boucher repeatedly striking the victim with a golf club, leading to the victim’s death.
According to the arrest report, witnesses heard the victim screaming for help as Boucher chased him with the golf club. The altercation escalated, with Boucher continuing to hit the victim even after they fell to the ground. He then grabbed a second golf club and forced the victim towards the pond, where he proceeded to choke him and strike him multiple times.
After the attack, witnesses saw Boucher leaving the scene, stripping off his clothes, and walking away. Police were able to capture him after a chase and used a Taser to subdue him. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to multiple head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
