Atlas Fallen Renamed as Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand in August
Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Deck13 have announced an exciting update for their action RPG, Atlas Fallen. The free major update, titled Reign of Sand, is set to launch on August 6, 2024, across all platforms. Along with the update, the game will also undergo a name change to Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand. Players can look forward to an expanded world, a reworked campaign, revamped progression, new enemies, new quests, quality-of-life improvements, and more.
One of the key highlights of the update is the addition of new voice acting from acclaimed actors like Ben Starr, known for his work in Final Fantasy XVI and Warframe. Additionally, players can expect a New Game Plus mode and a Nightmare difficulty option to enhance their gaming experience.
Atlas Fallen takes place in a timeless, sand-filled land where players must use a special gauntlet artifact to combat oppression in the name of Thelos, the sun god. The game offers both single-player and two-player cooperative modes and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
