Blind, left or central back, passed the medical examination this Friday and committed to the Catalan club for two seasons, until 2025. He will already be available for the start of Girona’s preseason on Monday.

Last season he played 19 games for Ajax and five for Bayern: four in the Bundesliga and one in the German Cup. Throughout his career he has played 243 games in the Dutch league, 90 in the Premier League and 103 in European club competitions, between the Champions League and the Europa League.
Blind is the second addition announced so far by Girona, which a few weeks ago already confirmed the continuity of goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga as property after a course on loan from English Fulham.
