The first classic of the season already has a date. On October 28, the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium will open its doors to host the Spanish soccer classic between Barcelona and Real Madrid for the first time in its history. The ball will begin to roll at 4:15 p.m.

While the Camp Nou Spotify works are underway, the stadium located on the Montjüic mountain will be in charge of hosting all Barça matches, including the classic ones.

The match will be played on October 28, a date of unfortunate memory for Real Madrid and Rafa Benítez. That day the white team suffered a painful defeat (5-1) in Barcelona that led to the departure of the Basque coach.

This long-awaited classic corresponds to the eleventh day of the championship and will have its replica on the weekend of April 21 in Madrid. There, on matchday number 32 of the championship, another classic will be played in a Bernabéu 100% remodeled as a stage.
