The distribution event in New York marked a significant milestone in DP World’s endeavor to provide 2,000 cricket kits to grassroots organizations across multiple countries and continents. Utilizing a network of eight repurposed shipping containers, the company has facilitated the delivery of essential equipment to support cricket development.
Following Team USA’s remarkable victory over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, Tendulkar expressed his admiration for the team’s performance, emphasizing the importance of local heroes in inspiring future generations. Accompanied by former teammate Ravi Shastri and DP World’s Global Ambassador, Tendulkar highlighted the need to expand such initiatives globally and promote the sport through exhibition games.
