Robert MacIntyre to Have New Full-Time Caddie for Upcoming Tournaments

A week after securing his first PGA Tour victory at the RBC Canadian Open with his dad on the bag, Robert MacIntyre has decided on a new full-time caddie. According to reports from The Scotsman, starting from the upcoming US Open, MacIntyre will be accompanied by Mike Burrow on his bag.

This decision comes after a period of searching for a new caddie following his split from his previous caddie, Mike Thomson, before last year’s Ryder Cup. MacIntyre had briefly worked with Greg Milne and then Scott Carmichael before settling with Burrow for the rest of the 2023 DP World Tour season. Burrow, who previously caddied for Danny Willett at The Masters, also joined MacIntyre at the PGA Championship.

Despite the temporary success with his dad as his caddie at the RBC Canadian Open, MacIntyre has now made the move to have Burrow as his full-time caddie. With the Pinehurst No.2 Major approaching, MacIntyre will be looking to continue his impressive form with Burrow by his side.
