The missing 14-year-old son of former Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Daniel Muir has sparked a search in Indiana, with concerns of possible abuse and brainwashing. Bryson Muir was the subject of a Silver Alert issued in the state, with police releasing photos showing the teenager with a swollen eye. Daniel Muir is considered a person of interest in the case after failing to cooperate with the investigation.
The boy’s grandmother, Cheryl Wright, spoke out about her concerns, indicating that she believes Bryson Muir was beaten by his father and may have been “brainwashed” into living on a religious compound in Logansport. Wright reported the possible abuse to the police after seeing her grandson with a battered face, including a black eye and busted lip. She expressed worry about the boy’s well-being and his involvement with the Servant Leader Foundation, a religious group in Logansport.
Despite efforts by law enforcement to locate Bryson Muir, including a scheduled meeting with Indiana State Police investigators that the Muirs backed out of, the teenager remains missing. Residents are urged to contact authorities if they have any information on the whereabouts of the Muirs or their son.
The situation remains unresolved, with no arrests made at this time. Bryson Muir is described as a 6 foot, 2 inch tall, 185-pound Black male with brown eyes, last seen wearing an orange Under Armour shirt and blue jeans.
