The Formula 1 World Championship arrives this weekend in the United States for the first time this season. It will be held between Friday, May 3 and Sunday, May 5, and will be the sixth round of the 2024 World Cup.

As in the last Chinese GP, this event will have a sprint race. Likewise, the first appointment on American soil will be held in the afternoon in Spain, due to the time difference with Miami.

Friday will have a single free practice session, while Saturday’s day will begin with the sprint classification. This race will distribute the first points of the weekend, leaving the Qualy for the night schedule. As for Sunday, as is common, the race will be held, scheduled for 57 laps.

Max Verstappen continues to lead the table. The Dutchman made a mistake in Australia, a mistake that has not affected his performance, since he has managed to win in all the GPs held to date.

As for the Spaniards, Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso were not so lucky on Asian soil, since they suffered an incident in the short event. In fact, the Asturian received a warning that sparked controversy among his followers.
