The Formula 1 World Championship arrives in Europe this weekend, landing in Emilia-Romagna. It will be held between Friday, May 17 and Sunday, May 19, and will be the seventh round of the 2024 World Cup.
Held at the Autódromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, this test is held just after the Miami Grand Prix, in which Lando Norris took victory. The Great Circus thus returns to Europe after passing through Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia among others.
The seventh test will be held at the legendary Imola circuit, at the home of Ferrari, and Max Verstappen starts as a favorite to achieve a new victory. The Dutchman has 136 points in his locker, so he has a 35 advantage over Checo Pérez.
Third position in the drivers’ classification goes to Charles Leclerc, who has 98 points, and just behind us we find the Spanish Carlos Sainz, who has 83 points. Lando Norris, winner of the award in Miami, would be at the same level.
