Carlos Alcaraz will face the American Sebastian Korda in the semifinals of the Queen’s Tournament in London this Saturday, June 24. Alcaraz, ranked second in the ATP ranking, is considered the clear favorite against Korda, who is ranked number 32.

The favoritism towards the Murcian is due in part to his stellar performance during the season, which has lasted until the British tournament, as well as his history of confrontations with Korda: of the three previous occasions on which they met, Alcaraz has defeated twice.

Their first meeting resulted in a victory for Alcaraz at the 2021 Next Generation ATP Finals 4-3, 4-2, 4-2. He repeated his victory at the 2022 Roland Garros with a result of 6-4, 6-4 and 6-2. Nonetheless, Korda proved a formidable opponent in his only win over Alcaraz at the ATP Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo last year, going an impressive 7-6 6-7 6-3. So although Alcaraz comes like a rocket, it cannot be ruled out that the American will face up and could put the Spanish in difficulties.

The match between Carlos Alcaraz and Sebastian Korda in the semifinals of the Queen’s Tournament will be played this Saturday, June 24, starting at 3:20 p.m. The broadcast of the match will be carried out by Movistar, through the Movistar Deportes channel on dial 59. It can also be followed on La Vanguardia.
