Already before, Rachael Prescott from Oregon had given birth to her two youngest children, twins Charlotte and Annette, she was bombarded with condolences for the unborn children of the state.

But exactly as they had explained all of the doctors, continued Rachael Prescott, her pregnancy, and for a little over a year ago came to Charlotte and Annette to the world. At birth they had found Down Syndrome.

When Charlotte was a half years old, she was operated on in the heart. Annette was born without the predicted heart problems.

Rachael Prescott tells us that they celebrated the news, since the twins ‘ birth was confirmed that they had Down Syndrome.

– It was assumed that we took care of it, but we quickly got insured all on the lack of grief and sadness in our hearts when it comes to our beautiful, vibrant, lively little girls with beating hearts and extra chromosomes, says Rachael Prescott.
