In the video you see a young woman, who adjusts his nedringede top in the reflection from a car window. Here, it is thought that advertising reinforces gender stereotypes and raising boys to behave sexist.

KFC has since apologized for the unfortunate advertisement and the violations it may have caused, but it is not good enough. At least not if you ask the campaign manager at Collective Shout Melinda Liszewski.

– It is an excuse for how others feel instead of apologizing for the negative stereotypes which are built-in in the advertisement, says Melinda Liszewski to 3AW.

Kampagnelederen believes that the advertisement does not respect women and pushes to the untrue stereotypes about boys.

This normalizes the idea that it is to beglo a woman and be disrespectful towards her just is a natural outcome, if the opportunity arises.

– the Advertising agency has created a scenario where the objektiviserer the woman, and they try to disguise it as an accident with the here the story, says Melinda Liszewski, who thinks that it’s a stereotype, which are being imposed on boys by adults.

even Though KFC has apologized, has not yet announced whether the advertisement be removed from tv and the internet.
