The former ERC spokesperson in Congress Joan Tardà defended this Friday at the ‘Europe Forum. Tribuna Catalunya’ that after the next Catalan regional elections a “left-wing tripartite” will be formed, in reference to the fact that Oriol Junqueras’s party, the PSC and the Commons are part of it.

He later referred to this issue when presenting in Barcelona to Minister of Justice, Rights and Memory Gemma Ubasart, who participated in an informative meeting organized by Nueva Economía Fórum.

When introducing Ubasart, Tardà referred to the fact that she is a former Podemos leader who is currently part of Pere Aragonès’ Cabinet, in which he highlighted that there are different “political currents.”

In his opinion, the presence in the Catalan Executive of representatives of different sensitivities should be the “seed” so that after the next regional elections a “left-wing tripartite” is formed, alluding to the fact that it is made up of those of Junqueras, the PSC and the Commons.

He argued that to “build a solution” in Catalonia after the process, this understanding between different “political currents” is necessary to achieve a broader understanding in society.
