The Congress of Deputies has released this Wednesday the declarations of assets of the 350 parliamentarians who were part of the chamber during the last legislature. Among them is that of Pedro Sánchez, which, as a novelty, includes an investment fund, a rental of his properties and an income from copyright.

If the statement that Sánchez sent to Congress in 2019, after the first elections of that year, is compared, it can be seen that, in these four years, the President of the Government has incorporated an investment fund valued at 81,499.20 euros into his assets. as of June 27, 2023.

Another novelty affects the collection of copyrights. It is understood that by his book, ‘Resistance Manual’. He received 42,000 euros. It also entered 12,845 euros last year as “property leasing”.

In the rest of the concepts there are no significant variations. The pension fund of the President of the Government went from 104,091 euros to 105,378 euros, for which reason he hardly made contributions during the legislature. The same occurs with checking accounts, which went from just over 40,000 euros to 19,208.79, always dated June 27 of this year.

Sánchez continued to pay off his mortgage. In the last four years he did it at a rate of around 500 euros a month. €25,000 in total. He has 61,786.98 euros left to pay. The president continues to have among his properties a house, half of another, a garage space and half of another.

In the previous statement, he included a microcredit to the PSOE of 2,000 euros for the electoral campaign. Last year, he allocated 4,418.40 euros in donations to the Socialist Party and “others”.

In addition, in the 2022 income statement, the acting President of the Government paid 10,508.62 euros of personal income tax, compared to 34,709.77 in 2018.
