The only deputy of the Canary Coalition, Cristina Valido, has set a price this morning for her favorable vote for an investiture. Valido, who has not leaned towards any block, has assured that her proposal is based on an improvement in regional financing, the reconstruction of La Palma and participation in the management of ports and airports.
The deputy for Tenerife has stressed that they will not reach “any agreement in the legislature”, although if their vote is decisive to avoid a repetition of the elections, “we will listen to whoever shows up”. “It’s up to others to make a move, we’re going to wait,” she added.
The tie at 171 seats between the bloc on the right and the one on the left leaves the only CC deputy as the key in decision-making in Congress, starting with the configuration of the table.
To get his affirmative vote, Valido has assured after collecting his act of deputy that his approach “for both” is based on three axes. In the first place, they require participation in the management and planning of port and airport infrastructures.
In addition, he asks to reform “autonomous financing, “which is clearly insufficient” in the opinion of CC. Finally, Valido has also demanded “the reconstruction of La Palma after the volcano crisis” through an aid plan.
