Shortly before the women’s handball WORLD cup threatens a possible doping scandal casting a shadow over the finals.
Three Romanian players have been notified for doping abuse of their national anti-doping council, writes the Romanian Gazeta Sporturilor. It happens, after it was revealed through their Instagram profiles that they have got made a special intravenous laser treatment.
The three players is Daciana Hosu (not in the WORLD cup squad), Cristina Laslo and Bianca Bazaliuhar, all for a daily affiliated with the Romanian club Brasov.
The latter two are usually stamspillere. In addition, there is a fourth player Eliza Buceschi, suspected, but not yet reviewed. None of them are allowed to travel with the squad for the WORLD cup.
It is a severe blow for the WORLD cup ambitions of Romania, who won the bronze in the 2015 european championships, and in 2018 reached the semi-finals. The situation of romanians trainer is shocked by the sudden dash of the bill.

An additional reason for the surprise may have been that the laser treatment is not prohibited under the world anti-doping agency WADA’s rules, but is prohibited in Romania.
