The head of court number 6 in Barcelona issued this morning a restraining order against the photojournalist Jordi Martín after the complaint filed against him by Clara Chía, the romantic partner of the ex-footballer Gerard Piqué, which she herself ratified on Wednesday before the magistrate, according to the interlocutory sent to both parties.

The judge orders the paparazzi to be 400 meters away from the residence, workplace or any other space where Clara Chía is, with the exception of public events where Martín is authorized to attend, in which case the distance is reduced to 20 meters. The magistrate also finds signs of criminality in the actions of Martín, who published the first photos of both the couple and Clara Chía alone in various media, and acknowledges the suffering reported by the young woman.

In particular, it refers to the illegitimacy of the photographer to sneak into the wedding of a close friend of Piqué to obtain the first images that were published of the couple, to repeatedly access the private parking lot of the residence that both share and lead chases in a vehicle at high speed to the point of obstructing the passage and putting the complainant’s safety at risk.

This is a resolution that only has a precedent in Spain, paradoxically dictated in favor of Shakira when the singer had the same lawyer that Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía have now hired, the penalty judge David Velázquez. The precautionary measure is valid for three months, extendable.
