Royal fans came home with a extra experience in the luggage, as the Wednesday evening attended the premiere of the musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Concert hall in Tivoli.
Here appeared the princess Benedikte namely up to see, among other Annette Heick, Trine Gadeberg and Gordon Kennedy building of the iconic musical, and hits such as ‘Waterloo’, ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Money, Money, Money’.
the Visit was announced in the royal family’s calendar before the princess’s arrival, but the royal visit came as a surprise to many of the attendees, who looked somewhat surprised when they got an eye on the royal guest.

Princess Benedikte arrived ten minutes before the performance was to go in time, and went with a smile by the attendees and the press took the time to take a few pictures.
She, however, wanted not to answer the big questions from the press, but answered anyway short on, why she had turned up on Wednesday evening.
– I love ABBA and all the songs, she said to the attendees of the press, before she with a smile continued into the concert hall.

Princess Benedikte (75) is the second oldest daughter of King Frederik 9. and Queen Ingrid. She is the little sister of Queen Margrethe 2. and elder sister to Queen Anne-Marie.
She married in 1968, prince Richard Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, as she has three children with.
