wind turbine manufacturers Siemens, Gamesa plans to lay off up to 600 employees in Denmark.

It informs the company in a press release.

– We regret to say goodbye to good and valued colleagues, and we will do our utmost to help our affected employees on the best possible way.

– These actions are necessary to deal with an increasingly competitive market in a responsible way, ” says Andreas Nauen, ceo of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Denmark, in a press release.

the Cuts come according to the company, as a result of the decisions to phase out landvinddivisionen in the Fires at the end of 2020, as well as Siemens Gamesas factory in Aalborg will cease production of the wings to the landvind already by the end of 2019.
