Norway’s biggest football club needs a new team he will play.
Rosenborg BK announces Thursday that Stig Inge Bjørnebye has chosen to leave the club with immediate effect. The 49-year-old Norwegian has gotten a lot of criticism this season, when Rosenborg had Molde run with the championship, and now he draws so plug.
– Five years with such an intense job like this is enough, says Bjørnebye on a pressekonfrence at the Lerkendal Stadium on Thursday morning.
– I’m not knocked out, I come back on Monday and back for the next match. I’ve got some incredible emotional and professional relationships throughout the club.

The Norwegian club has harvested many triumphs during Bjørnebyes time in the helm. It has been to four championships and three cup titles, and Rosenborg have also qualified for the group stage of the Europa League in four out of five cases.
