According to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been a great pleasure filming in Denmark again, after he has spent many hours in the great abroad.

” It has been amazing. We filmed also in Norway perched on the top of a mountain, and then we were in Berlin. ‘Selvmordsturisten’ is a film that takes place in Denmark, but it was important for the team, that it is not felt as though it was in a specific location, so you can’t recognize anything directly. So we have been to many different places. It was a great trip, we were on – very demanding, but good, he says and explains further that it has been a hard film to record.

– If you see the film, so is Max in every scene, and he comes out for a little bit of each. We filmed at a time up in the minus 25 degrees at a lake in northern sweden, and it was insanely beautiful, but it was a bit cold on the feet.

– What has been the hardest scene?

– There is something going on under the water, and I have had a few bad experiences over the years with just water. It is always such a thing with that you must be a few meters under the water. It is such a little claustrophobic, he says, before he quickly goes into the hall to see the ‘Selvmordsturisten’ together with his family.
