Peter Gjørup, former managing director of TOP-TOY, which was behind the Cousin of BR-chain, has died of cancer 49 years old.

Peter Gjørup was the third generation in the familieskabte TOP-TOY group. He started in the company’s it department in 1992 and held through the years a number of items such as it and logistikdirektør.
In the period from 2009 until the family sold the TOP-TOY in 2016, he was managing director.
Peter Gjørup was a great family man, and after the sale of TOP-TOY he used much of his time together with the family – with the annual skiing trip as one of the highlights.
Peter Gjørup is survived by his wife, Susanne Gjørup, and their three children, his parents and an older brother.
He was buried from Himmelev Church 17. december with the participation of the family, close friends and close colleagues.
