The aerodynamic changes mean that the cars have better downforce and the turbulent air following cars will be reduced. Yet the teams run into trouble, revealing the Racing Points technical director, Andrew Green, to Autosport.com.

It is especially true around the front of the car, with the allowable specifications is going to form its own problematic turbulence.

– Around the front of the car, I think it is so hugely restrictive, in that it is really going to hurt the handling of the car.

– It will be a ugly satan to run, says Andrew Green, however, believe that the teams with a little more freedom can solve problems.

But as it looks now, the upcoming F1-racers so be a part more difficult to run after next season.

– Aerodynamic they become rather unstable. And it is not good.

– You will like to have cars that are more reliable so drivers can attack and be safe at what they have under it. So they know what will happen, so they can drive the car to the limit knowing that it is stable there.

As I see it is none of these statements true for 2021, as it is now, says Andrew Green.

the Bleak outlook for the new cars – but much can be done towards the beginning of the season 2021.
