Videos of depositions with Trump campaign staffers, including Jason Miller, Bill Stepien and Ivanka Trump, show how many of Trump’s advisors opposed declaring victory on election night.

Miller, a senior adviser to Rudy Giuliani, describes Rudy Giuliani in one clip as “definitely drunk.” Rep. Liz Cheney, vice-chair of the panel, stated that he was “apparently drunk.”

Miller claimed Rudy Giuliani wanted to talk to President Trump on election night. He told Miller that he wanted Trump’s to declare that “We won.” They are stealing it from me.”

Video testimony by Bill Stepien, Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, stated that he would not recommend following the path Giuliani suggested.

Stepien stated that although it was too early to make such calls, ballots were still being tallied. “Ballots were still being tallied. Ballots would still be counted for several days.

Ivanka Trump said in another video that she did not have a “firm opinion” of what he should say.

“The results were still being tallied. She said that it was clear that the rates wouldn’t be called on election night.

Trump made remarks on election night calling the election a fraud and continued to make baseless claims about his victory. He said, “We were getting ready for this election.” “Frankly, this election was won by us.”
