In 2013, the Danish hitband Alphabeat, they took a break for an indefinite time – partly because the lead singer Stine Team are delivered with his own solo project.

In the year – six years after hitgruppen, among other things, is behind megahits like ‘Fascination’ and ‘10.000 Nights of Thunder’, chose to go for her – announced the band saw that they had come together again. They have since hit with tracks like ‘Shadows’ and ‘Don’t Know What’s Cool Anymore’.

however, It is not much, the public has gained insight in the reasons why Alphabeat chose to go every one into his own in his time, but in the new documentary ‘When the party disappeared’ on DR3 tells the band now honestly about what was behind their decision to pull the plug and take a break from each other.

the Conflicts flared more and more, up among the six members in the band, and particularly a conflict between the lead singer Stine Team and the band’s guitarist Anders Bønløkke, also called the Bean, was finally too much.

– the Bean has probably been the one who has been most unnatural to reach out to in this here break. It ended really weird with me and him when we went on break, the sounds it honestly from Stine Team in the documentary.

– Stine, and I have of course deliberately – I think, at least in the beginning after we stopped, not seen each other or had anything to do with each other. It had, we probably both needed, and I think we both had a feeling of, ” says Anders Bønløkke in the documentary.

According to the Stine Team and Anders Bønløkke began the process of working with Alphabeat to go to each other on the nerves.

– Stine, and I ended up just with – both consciously and unsubstantiated, I think – to provoke each other. It was also such a little personal thing. The differences, I think there really always has been in our personalities, and which is still there. That can be a good energy in that one is different, but it was just for something negative, ” says Anders Bønløkke.

the Conflict escalated, according to the Stine Team, as Anders Bønløkke thanked no to attend her wedding in 2013.

– shortly after we went on break, I invited to the wedding, and the whole band came apart from the Bean. It surprised me quite a lot, says Stine Team, and continues:

– He explained it with that he still thought it was a little too strange just to be seen, as if everything was as it was before our conflict. He was just insanely very the day, when the boys stood up and delivered such a fine feature about how well they knew me, and the things that we have experienced together. It sits in me, and it will probably always do. I know that you can not just forget the past, and I think certainly not, that he has forgotten it, says Stine Team.

It comes as also clearly expressed in the documentary, the two still have not quite found the song, after the band has been restored.

– It is pretty special to suddenly be in the room with the Bean again, and suddenly had to create something together, after how we left things. I think that’s going to take some time before it is not awkward to be left alone in the room with the Bean – unfortunately, says Stine Team.

According to Stine Bramsens medsanger, Anders S. G., conflicts have piled up in the band, because they have been bad to put words on their feelings.

– We have been very konfliktsky and kept things in the us. I have definitely had a feeling that the people have kept their opinions and feelings very much to themselves. I hope we have reached a point where you feel that you have taken all the conflict that is messing. We basically have not talked about feelings, he says further, and stresses that he hopes it is changing now, where they once again are reunited.
