filling Stations with hurtigladere for electric cars spreads currently as a wildfire over the european continent. One of those who will be on the bandwagon, the u.s. elbilproducent Tesla, who for several years has been working to roll a network of its so-called Supercharger stations in Europe.
Now the manufacturer has, however, reached an important milestone, for the Supercharger station no. 500 has just opened in London, England. It writes the Swedish automobile magazine Teknikens värld theme park.
500 stations can possibly sound by many, but put it together with Europe’s area of 10.180.000 km2, it corresponds to one Supercharger per. 20.360 km2. the Comparison is, however, may not be entirely fair, for while brændstofproducenterne have had 100 years to make the mast available, was the first Supercharger station opened in Norway just six years ago.
According to the Teknikens värld theme park accommodates the 500 stations over 4700 recharging points in total, of which 1500 have been set in the course of the past year and a half.
With the Supercharger-station no. 500 starting the Tesla is also a new chapter. It is the first place in Europe, where it is possible for elbilister to use the manufacturer’s latest ladeteknologi.
instead of leaving it with 150 kW, which is offered on the first 499 Supercharger stations, you can let up to 250 kW, write Teknikens värld theme park.
There is, in other words, put up to significantly faster charging for Tesla owners, if the car can handle many kilowatts. The news is therefore particularly interesting for owners of the smallest model in Tesla’s portfolio, the Model 3 – it is the first Tesla that can let with 250 kW.
even Though the manufacturer’s new hurtigladere have not yet reached Denmark, is precisely the Model 3 in a short time become an extremely popular electric car at home. In the first half of 2019, rolled 1135 copies of the little car, for example, out on the Danish roads, which made it to the with distance most sold car in the period.
Also the country’s bilanmeldere has been well received by the car, which in november culminated in the title as Car of the Year Denmark.
