the Other day, it came to light YouSee interrupt the cooperation and remove all of the Discovery Networks’ channels to its tv packages. Now raise YouSee so the price of broadband per. 1. January 2020, and it is causing great dissatisfaction among the provider’s customers.

‘Quite distasteful,’ and ‘we get, of course, a product of deterioration, but it is in the apparently indifferent. It will be a NO THANK you from here,’ saith the criticism, among others from the enraged customers from YouSee.

Customer railing against YouSee happening on the background of an email as the internet and tv giant has sent out to several of their clients, where they write the following:

‘We know well that it is far more fun to hear about new, exciting benefits than on price increases. But we’re not going outside, that there is one on the way,’ saith it in an email from YouSee to the many customers.

Ekstra Bladet has been in touch with YouSee, confirming that in the future, they put the price up for broadband. At the same time, they tell that the price increase is necessary in order to create the best possible product in the future.

‘YouSee adjusts the price of the ca. a third of our existing broadband customers, who on average get a price increase of between 10 and 20 kr,’ writes YouSees produktdirektør, Hans Henrik Knudsen, in an email to Ekstra Bladet, and adds:

‘As our costs to the bl.a. infrastructure increases, we will unfortunately have to adjust the price a little for a number of the customers who have a somewhat lower price than our nysalgspriser,’ reads the message from YouSee.

Already some months ago was YouSee hit by a bit of a shitstorm from some customers. Here it emerged that the Discovery Networks’ channels, including Channel 5 with landsholdsfodbold and the OLYMPICS next summer, it will no longer be a part of the provider’s tv packages after the new year.

The news fell certainly not in the good soil of the YouSee customers. The other day it was so decided conclusively that YouSee does not have managed to land a deal with Discovery and, therefore, will the channels be deleted from the tv-packages from 1. January 2020.
