Hovedrystende and bowed down over itself received a 54-year-old århusianer his sentence of four months imprisonment, as the Court in Aarhus on Wednesday ended an extraordinary tilståelsessag on ‘continuous’ and ‘escalating’ stalking.
the Man acknowledged flatly that he over the seven months from January in the year 1516 times sent the particular emails, but also text messages and photographs to his ex-wife and to a more limited extent the couple’s minor daughter and son.

– It is extremely offensive and uncomfortable for a person to be exposed to the stalking of this caliber, and I am very pleased that the court has now decided that the man should be in jail for four months. In periods he has sent over 20 e-mails to the woman of the day, and it goes without saying that it has been a huge load for her, says Jacob Gents, prosecutor of the east Jutland Police.
The now convicted man explained, though, that the starting point for his stalking was frustration and sadness and a desire to get the air that he felt unjustly treated by his ex-wife. His messages were never threatening.
the Man has been arrested and released several times. He has been remanded in custody in the case for three weeks, and the court followed the prosecutor’s request that he would continue until he embarks on his sentence.

the Judges felt that there was a risk that he would write to the ex-wife again. An order which was in the ditch of the defenders.
Police prosecutor considered that a verdict of seven to eight months in prison, would be appropriate, but the court felt that it dragged in a milder direction, that he never personally sought out his ex-wife and the two children.
