The belgian champions KRC Genk have quite as expected, sacked head coach Felice Mazzu Tuesday morning. The club lost on Sunday 0-2 on home soil to Jess Thorup and Ghent, and is now at a tepid ninth place, and it was too much for the leadership that now has progressed to the action.
Felice Mazzu took over the management of KRC Genk in the summer, after the current Club Brugge coach Philippe Clement made the club to the belgian champions in last season. Mazzu has not been able to follow up on the success and is in addition to the tepid position in the league also in the rankings in the Champions League’s group E.
the KRC Genk have fired assistenttrænerne Tom van Imschoot, Denis Dessaer and Sandro Salamone, and thus it is a completely new training team to Joakim Mæhle, Paul Onuachu and teammates, as kubben’re looking for.
While KRC Genk chasing a new head coach, will klubmanden Domenico Olivieri stuck with the responsibility, together with Kevin Van Dessel.
