Two people were arrested this Sunday in Salamanca’s Market Square for an attack against authority after they were caught red-handed defecating in public.
At 6:46 a.m., a plainclothes police officer discovered the detainees relieving themselves in the street and proceeded to file the corresponding complaint, according to several local media reports.
Those arrested had left a nearby nightclub and, despite the rain, did not hesitate to defecate in the square. When they were discovered by the Salamanca Local Police agent, they pounced on him and a companion, and were finally arrested. The two police officers were treated and released.
