Seven aerial means and several terrestrial ones work in a forest fire declared this Sunday in the Valencian town of Barx, which has forced the decree of situation 1 of the Special Plan against the risk of fires (PEIF) for being close to homes.
As reported by the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat and the Valencia Fire Consortium, the notice was received around three this afternoon due to a forest fire in Barx next to the Mondúver road.
In the extinction seven air means of the Generalitat work, one of them in the task of coordination, and three units of the forest firefighters, one of them helitransported.
One more air means has also been mobilized for the evacuation of the fire prevention guard and nine hikers who were isolated at the top of Mondúver. After three displacements, the 10 people have already been evacuated.

The Emergency Coordination Center has established situation 1 of the PEIF due to the proximity of the fire to homes.
This is the second fire declared this Sunday in the Valencian Community that forces the declaration of alert situation 1, after another fire was declared in Estivella (Valencia), near the Sierra Calderona campsite.
For this Sunday, the orange level pre-emergency situation has been decreed due to wind in the northern interior of Castellón, and yellow irrigation has been decreed due to winds on the coast and the southern interior.
