Some six irregular boats with some 534 migrants inside have been rescued during the early hours of this Sunday by Maritime Rescue in the waters of the islands of Lanzarote (2), Fuerteventura and El Hierro (3).

This has been reported to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, which adds that in the case of the first, at around 10:15 p.m. this Saturday, the 51 occupants of a boat arrived at the Puerto Naos Pier (Lanzarote) – -48 men, two women and one minor–, who were all in good condition except two of them who were transferred to health centers for different pathologies.

At around 2:10 a.m., another boat arrived at the La Restinga Dock (El Hierro) with 56 migrants – 52 men and 4 women – who were assisted on land by the usual medical device, all of whom were in apparent good health.

Subsequently, at 2:20 a.m., a new canoe arrived in Lanzarote with 42 adult men, requiring the transfer of one of them to a hospital due to slight disorientation.

Already at 06:22, another irregular boat arrived at the islands, in this case Fuerteventura, with 69 migrants – 57 men and 12 women – all in good condition.

Shortly after, at 6:30 a.m. and back in El Hierro, the 316 occupants of two cayucos arrived in La Restinga, one with 205 people and the other with 111, and two of them were transferred to a hospital for minor pathologies.
