This Thursday, October 26, the deadline to make reservations for the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services (Imserso) program opens. People who have been accredited to participate in the trips will receive an accreditation letter at their homes, which indicates from which day in October 2023 they will be able to book trips corresponding to the 2023-2024 tourism season.
The staggered distribution of reserves by autonomous communities will be as follows: starting today, the beneficiaries of this service who reside in Aragón, Asturias, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Galicia, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, La Rioja, Navarra , the Basque Country and the Autonomous City of Ceuta, will be able to start booking their trips; while residents of the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Valencian Community, Extremadura, Madrid, Murcia, and the Autonomous City of Melilla must wait until October 28.
Even so, the service distinguishes between preferred and non-preferred accredited, postponing the possible trip from the 26th to the 27th in the case of the first group and from the 28th to the 30th in the second group.
The letter accrediting applicants includes a four-digit code that allows the holder to make their reservation electronically. If you want to make the reservation through a travel agency that collaborates with the Imserso tourism program, it is only necessary to bring your National Identity Document.
The estimated prices of the trips, depending on the destination and the days of stay planned, according to the forecast of the Institute of Seniors and Social Services, would be approximately the following:
