This year ILERNA will be part of two of the most important educational fairs in our country. The starting signal will be at AULA Madrid, which is held from March 6 to 10 at IFEMA. A few days later, the center will move to the Montjuïc venue in Barcelona, ??where the Saló de L’Ensenyament takes place from March 13 to 17.
Both appointments aim to guide students when making a decision as important as defining their professional future, and offer them the necessary tools to do so with foundation.
To this end, ILERNA, a leader in online and in-person FP, offers advice and information at both stands to all those students and families who value FP as the next step in their educational future. This center has more than 30 cycles between intermediate level and higher level; a wide training offer in different professional families such as healthcare, IT and communications, or marketing and commerce, among many others.
FP is a growing training option that stands out for its high employability rate. Graduates of Intermediate Training Cycles have an employment rate of 74%, while those of Higher Degree reach 79%, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
The increase in enrollment in the last five years is around 30%, according to data from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. ILERNA is presented as an opportunity for young people to achieve their goals, thanks to its three modalities for completing vocational training: online, blended and in-person.
ILERNA also does not miss its appointment this year with the 9th edition of Madrid Education Week. The event, which takes place from March 6 to 10 at IFEMA, offers a broad overview of the educational sector under the motto “Promotion of Reading.”
In its program, in which ILERNA participates as a reference for FP, young people can find answers to their academic and professional future thanks to a wide and diverse catalog of proposals to expand their training. Hence, this event is essential in the educational framework of the national and international panorama and its objective is to guide around 150,000 visitors, among whom are young people from 18 different countries.
One more year, AULA has the collaboration of ILERNA MADRID students, specifically from the Intermediate Degree cycles of Health Emergencies and Nursing Auxiliary. At the ILERNA stand, these students will show how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation or take vital signs. On the other hand, Higher Grade students of the Dental Prosthesis, Oral Hygiene, Diagnostic Imaging, Dietetics and Early Childhood Education cycles will carry out brushing workshops, dental prosthesis keychains and sensory books, among other activities.
During the days of Madrid Education Week, you will also be able to access the guidance of the center’s director, Tamara Medina. Regarding the students who are already ILERNA students, Medina states: “The first thing our students tell us is that they feel at home, and I think that is a value that ILERNA Madrid has… As for the facilities, there is a immense investment on the part of ILERNA, the concern is infinite so that the students can have what they need in the classrooms, both so that the teachers can teach them, and so that they can learn while they are studying.”
On the other hand, the Saló de l’Ensenyament presents, from March 13 to 17 at the Montjuïc site, a broad overview of the Catalan education sector. This edition has 170 academic and professional orientation activities with experts, among other activities.
Within its program, young people will be able to find answers to their academic and professional future thanks to a wide and diverse catalog of proposals to expand their training. During these days, ILERNA students and teachers will be informing visitors about the doubts and questions they have about all their training cycles.
In the words of the director of ILERNA Barcelona Ruth Mirabet Pastor, at the stand you will find specifications of each training cycle taught in the center of Barcelona. In addition, they will receive an extensive explanation of the facilities and cutting-edge machinery that the center has. Mirabet highlights that one of the hallmarks of ILERNA is based on: “accompanying students in making decisions, exploring their training options and their professional opportunities.”
ILERNA Barcelona can be defined as a vocational training macro-center, since it has a total of 18 official qualifications from the professional families of Health, Sociocultural and Community Services, IT and Communications, Administration and Management, Commerce and Marketing and Personal Image. A center whose 4,800 square meter facilities – located on Santa Carolina Street – have classrooms and laboratories fully equipped with professional tools and state-of-the-art machinery for the development of practical and dynamic training.
