CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland man repeatedly raped a 16-year-old girl at gunpoint and held her against her will at his home in the city’s Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, court records say.

Shairon Lipscomb, 20, is charged with rape and kidnapping. Warrants for his arrest were issued Monday, but Lipscomb remains at-large.

The attack happened between Friday and Sunday at Lipscomb’s home on East 128th Street, a few blocks north of Kinsman Road, according to court documents.

He held a shotgun to the girl’s face during the attack, court records say.

The girl called her grandmother at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and told her about the attack, according to police dispatch records.

The grandmother called Cleveland police who found the girl outside Lipscomb’s house, records say.

Within minutes, two males ran out of the home and down the street. Police ran after them through backyards but could not find Lipscomb.

Investigators executed a search warrant at his home that night, records say.

The girl’s grandmother later told police that she did not know her granddaughter was with Lipscomb, saying she was supposed to be with a female friend instead, records say.

Records say Lipscomb was “known to be armed and dangerous.”

He has no criminal history in the city of Cleveland, nor any history of felony charges in Cuyahoga County, records say.
