A 44-year-old man died yesterday after being run over at kilometer 27 of the A-2 motorway, in the Madrid direction, after getting out of his vehicle due to a breakdown, as reported by Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.
In addition to confirming the death of this man, Summa112 has stabilized and transferred the 37-year-old driver of the second vehicle to the Príncipe de Asturias hospital in Alcalá de Henares with minor bruises.
The first call to the emergency service to report the accident occurred at 4:45 p.m.
According to the same sources, the alert was received that a vehicle “would have suffered a problem, the driver would have gotten out of the vehicle and would have been hit by a second vehicle.”
In addition to the Summa 112, the Fire Department of the Community of Madrid and the Civil Guard, which is in charge of the accident report, also intervened.
