A driver has been intercepted in Pamplona after fleeing at a checkpoint, driving without insurance since 2023 and with the MOT expired since 2022, carrying a knife, and carrying a minor on board without the corresponding restraint system.
Furthermore, the person involved had a blood alcohol level of 0.49 mg/l – doubling the permitted rate of 0.25 mg/l – and has disobeyed the arrest orders of the agents.
As reported by the Provincial Police on their social networks, for all these infractions, the driver, who was a repeat offender, has been fined a total of 4,100 euros and the subtraction of eight points from his license.
Specifically, he has been fined 1,500 euros for not having insurance since 2023, with 600 euros for disobeying the orders of the agents, with another 600 euros for carrying a knife with a previous sanction, with 500 euros for not taking the course after 2 years of license withdrawal, with another 500 euros and 4 points for having a blood alcohol level of 0.49 mg/l, with 200 euros and another 4 points for carrying a minor without a restraint system, and with another 200 euros for circulate with the ITV expired since 2022.
