Travis Scott, the famous American rapper, was recently arrested in Miami for disorderly intoxication and trespassing following an argument on a boat. The incident took place at Miami Beach Marina around 01:45 local time on Thursday and was reported by the Miami Beach Police Department.

According to the arrest report, officers were called to a yacht where Travis Scott was seen shouting at people on board. The police detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath and asked him to leave the dock. However, Scott walked backwards while yelling obscenities at the yacht’s occupants. He eventually left the area but returned shortly after, attempting to board the yacht again.

When confronted by officers, Travis Scott ignored their commands, became erratic, and disturbed local residents with his shouting. Despite his behavior, his legal representative, Bradford Cohen, stated that the arrest was due to a misunderstanding and there was no physical altercation involved. Cohen thanked the authorities for resolving the situation swiftly and amicably.

Travis Scott, also known as Jacques Bermon Webster, is a 10-time Grammy Award nominee and a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry. He was previously in a relationship with Kylie Jenner and shares two children with her. Scott’s European tour is set to kick off in the Netherlands on 28 June, with upcoming shows in London and Manchester in July.

In 2021, tragedy struck at Scott’s Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas, where 10 fans lost their lives in a crowd surge. While he did not face criminal charges for the incident, he is currently involved in civil cases alleging negligence on the part of the event organizers. Despite these challenges, Travis Scott achieved his first UK number one album with Utopia last year, although a planned performance in front of Egypt’s pyramids had to be canceled.

The arrest in Miami adds to the controversies surrounding Travis Scott, but his fans continue to support him as he navigates through these legal issues while maintaining his status as one of the biggest names in the music industry.
