A tractor-trailer crashed into a home in Carteret, New Jersey, on Wednesday afternoon after the driver suffered a “medical incident.” Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene after the big rig barreled into the house.

The driver, who was operating a Porky Products Inc. vehicle, experienced a medical issue leading up to the crash and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment. It was reported that the tractor-trailer crashed through a white fence before colliding with the two-story home, where it became lodged in the back.

Fortunately, it was unspecified whether anyone was inside the house at the time of the incident or if there were any additional injuries. Photos and videos from the scene depicted the extensive damage caused by the crash, with emergency crews assessing the situation.

Residents were advised to anticipate road closures in the area until the crash site was cleared. The borough of Carteret extended their thoughts and prayers to the driver and the families affected by the accident.
