Although it is not an established custom in our country, taking food from home to school is a reality for many children. In fact, in many educational centers around the world, teachers check the lunch boxes or lunch boxes of their students to make sure that their lunches are healthy and rich in nutrients. This apparently innocent act can bother the parents, who are the ones who prepare them.

This is the case of Ross Hunt, an English father who has decided to take action on the matter after learning that his daughter’s food was being criticized by teachers for being “unhealthy”. In a viral TikTok video, Hunt decides to approach the situation in a most creative way: writing notes in her daughter’s lunch box to teachers that make her feel bad about the lunch she brings from home.

Hunt takes this peculiar measure in a sarcastic tone to show his little ones that they have to face unfair situations, he says. In the video, which has gone viral, he poses as his daughter Isabelle’s teachers, criticizing every item in the lunch box.

“Oh, don’t eat that! Eat your sandwich! Oh, you shouldn’t eat that!” she says wryly, calling the situation “irritating”. And he criticizes the educational system, which from his point of view is meaningless: “It’s okay if he eats the chocolate cake that school gives him, but if you put it in his lunch box, ‘Oh no, you shouldn’t eat that! ‘” adds Hunt.

Faced with this situation, the influencer has decided to invent something that has left many users speechless: a personalized label where it makes it clear that the family is aware of the food little Isabelle consumes. The sticker, which she places on the inside of the lunch box, reads “Welcome to Isabelle’s Lunch Box! We are aware of the contents of this box and we are happy for her to eat whatever she wants.

The video has aroused the outrage of many parents, who have taken the opportunity to share their criticism of the “healthy” food in cafeterias in nursery schools.

One writes in the comments: “It’s a nightmare that they promote healthy eating and then my son comes home saying he got pizza, chips and some cake, what’s healthy about that?”

Despite the fact that the relationship with food is relevant at all ages, it is especially important among the smallest members of the house. Since they are still building it, some parents choose to create a positive bond over lunch.
