With almost three decades behind them, the No Te Va Gustar formation is one of the benchmarks of Latin American rock, with a forceful live performance that has led them to perform in numerous venues throughout America and Europe, as they will do next September at the Razzmatazz venue inside of the Suite Festival. In this way they join artists such as Ara Malikian, Cepeda, Luz Casal, Bely Basarte, Arde Bogotá and Dorian in the performances that will take place on different stages in Catalonia.

Led by Emiliano Brancciari, No Te Va Gustar was born in Montevideo in 1994 as a band of teenage friends that released their first album, Solo de noche, in 1998. Their music, a rock mixed with influences from reggae, folk, murga or ska, has earned them numerous gold and platinum records with hits such as A las nueve, Tan Lejos, Chau or Ese maldito momento.

Their latest album, Luz, appeared in 2021, updating their music with eighties reverberations, to which they added collaborations such as that of Argentina’s Nicki Nicole, with whom they perform Venganza. The tour that now brings them to Barcelona started at the end of 2021, filling three stadiums in Montevideo (Uruguay) and La Plata (Argentina) to give more than 65 concerts throughout 2022. The band has started the year by releasing new music, collaborating with special guests like the Brazilian singer-songwriter and composer Jonny Hooker, with whom they have just released the single Comida, a piece in a funk key that covers the iconic 1987 song by Titãs half in Spanish and half in Portuguese.
